Start a free town CPR class

Some people have a cardiac arrest and can die if not treated at the time but CRP can overcome these deaths.

Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) is an emergency lifesaving first aid procedure used to help victims of sudden cardiac arrest. It consists of a combination of chest compression and administered breaths.

A cardiac arrest occurs when the electrical activity controlling the heart becomes disrupted. This causes the victim to lose consciousness and stop breathing normally.

Sudden cardiac arrest is the leading cause of death worldwide. Last year, over 1 million people suffered a sudden cardiac arrest. Every minute without CPR the probability of survival from sudden cardiac arrest reduces by 10% per minute.

The treatment of sudden cardiac arrest is prompt CPR and the delivery of an electrical shock to the heart (defibrillation).

It is an important practice which everyone should learn. The average cost for CRP classes is approximately 40$ per hour and if someone wants to hires a CRP instructor than it will cost somewhat in between $25 to $50.

If you know the basic resuscitation skills of CPR, you can provide free access to CRP education to everyone. You can start a town CPR class at the local YMCA or town hall and offer to all residents to join for free.
