Ways to help your parent during the tough time
Ups are downs are part of life and almost every family experience a tough time at some stage of life. Sometimes parents face unemployment or lower incomes.
At this tough period children especially teenagers should try to support their parents. Given below are ways to support your parent:
You can help your parents financially. Supporting your family through money is the best way to overcome your parent’s problems. Try to earn money by doing small jobs such as mowing lawns, babysitting, shoveling snow, or delivering papers.
If you can’t help financially reduce your expenses of movies, magazines, music, gas, or sodas. Try to save money by doing your house works by yourself such as sewing or mending clothing, gardening, baby-sitting for younger brothers and sisters, preparing meals.
You can also save money by reducing bills expenses in the following ways :
Turn off all the electrical equipment when they are not in use. Make fewer and shorter phone calls. Avoid taking showers for hours. Use clotheslines for drying clothes. Buy less expensive drinks.
Turn off the water while brushing your teeth. Use less shampoo. Consider cheap brands for personal care products. Avoid food wasting.
