Feeding America: an effort to feed the hungry

Wasting food is not a good practice but we waste a lot of food. Our country wastes a large quantity of food every year that is approximately 80 pounds and it is a disappointing thing for all of us.

There are also many people in a country like America where people go hungry. Millions of children and adults are sleeping with an empty stomach, Hunger touches every community in the U.S.

Hunger is caused by several factors including poverty, and nowadays the reason is pandemic. Due to the coronavirus pandemic, millions of people including children can face hunger in the U.S.

We should store any extra food instead of being thrown out so that a person in need can get it up. We should work hard and stay united to end this hunger.

It is a United States-based non-profit organization that is a nationwide network of more than 200 food banks. It is a powerful and efficient network of 200 food banks across the country.

They are providing food to people in need through a nationwide network of food banks for about 40 years. They are, working to connect people with food and end this hunger from the country.
