The solution to resisting tobacco cravings

Cool Story - The solution to resisting tobacco cravings

Many tobacco users want to resist their tobacco craving. Urges to smoke are indeed very powerful and difficult to quit but it is possible to quit.

Whenever you resist a tobacco craving just keep this in mind that you're only a step closer to stopping tobacco. We provide you some ways which help you to resist the use of tobacco when your tobacco craving strikes.

You should try nicotine replacement therapy. Ask your doctor about this therapy. This can help you to overcome intense cravings. Identify the trigger situation when you smoke most and make a plan in place to avoid these situations entirely or get through them without using tobacco.

Wait at least 10 minutes whenever you are about to smoke. This can help to derail your tobacco craving. Chew bubble gum or hard candy when you crave to smoke.

Adopt some physical activity such as jumping, walking, or running. It can help to distract you from tobacco cravings. Call for reinforcements with your friends or family. Chat on the phone, go for a walk together, share a few laughs, or get together to commiserate about your cravings.

Join or get involved in an online stop-smoking program. Remember the harms of smoking and the benefits of stopping smoking. This will help you to feel better and get the goal.
