How does one become a superhero in their community? Come see the "sandwich ladies" at the Betty Ehart Senior Center on Friday, March 3 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. for the first blood drive ever.
"The sandwich women are back," which is the finest news. The Los Alamos Volunteer Association or RSVP volunteers were given the affectionate nickname "lunch ladies" many years ago. The romance had to take a backseat while the virus spread.
The egg salad made famous by the sandwich women before COVID will be faithfully replicated by LARSO workers to maintain service continuity. The eggs were given by Smith.
The Friends of the Senior Center decided to complete the project by making additional purchases to make the senior center a warm location where locals may perform good deeds. The FOSC is the senior center’s fundraising division. The senior centers are different non-profit entities. When there is no money available, their job is to constantly assist.
Several fun, dated, and new activities can resume now that senior centers are operating more normally. There will be some walk-in appointments available, but it is essential to make a reservation online or over the phone so the Vitalant team can provide enough workers and materials. 1.877.258.4825 is the toll-free number where a representative can help you make an appointment.
